At one time in the United States, black people did not have the same rights as white people. They could not go to the same schools as whites, or eat in the same restaurants, and when they took a bus they had to sit at the back. That was called “racial segregation”. Rosa Parks was an African American who had to live with this unfair treatment... until one day she had had enough...
